Thanks.I just picked up an XL1 and discovered there is no information after much research. Are parts still available for this saw? I hope someone can help me. Does anyone know anything about this saw such as displacement, weight, known problems, etc.

I looked in an Intertec manual which shows many Homelites but for some reason, there is no XL1. I have been trying to find out anything I can about it but have come up with nothing. Someone just sold me a Homelite XL1 automatic with the original case for 25$. Homelite Super Xl Automatic Chainsaw Manual His response was to refuse to place any more whole goods orders. Local chain saw dealer got really upset years ago when he saw a big splashy ad for one of those teapot saws at about $3 less than his dealer cost years ago.only difference between chain store and his display unit was the decal on the recoil cover. I think Homely-lite had a bunch of experimentaion going on with marketing back then.they were beginning to really steam their old faithful dealers with back-door deals to a few stores and saws showing up in the chains at about dealer cost.
